Let the duck rest for a few minutes, and slice against the grain.

Make the glaze:
In a small bowl, combine hoisin sauce, maple syrup and Chinese five-spice powder. Give it a stir.

How to serve
Serve the Smoked Duck Burger with crispy onion rings, furikake fries, mala tater tots, or chips.
Pair with a strawberry lychee tea, milk tea bubble tea, or lychee soda.
Expert tips
Warm gently: reheat the smoked duck just enough to warm through without drying it out.
Balance the flavors: the richness of duck pairs well with tangy or slightly sweet condiments like caramelized onion jam, plum sauce, or pickled onions/peppers.
Choose a soft bun: a pillowy bun will complement the texture of the duck without overwhelming it.
Add spice: for a kick of flavor, add a little chili oil to the hoisin glaze.
