This recipe for Starbucks Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade features refreshing green tea mixed with fruity peach juice and lemonade in a delicious drink that you'll have on repeat all summer.

    Why you'll love this recipe

This copycat Starbucks drink recipe is made with real peach juice and not peach syrup.

It's a delicious iced tea lemonade with fragrant peach flavor and doesn't contain too much sugar.

Two options to brew: brew the tea with hot water, or slowly cold-brew the tea.

The downside to the cold brew green tea is that it takes time to steep in the fridge overnight, BUT, it's already chilled by the time you're ready to use it.

Easily customizable: adjust the amounts of lemonade, peach juice, green tea and/or sweetener (if using) to your taste.

Economical: it costs way less to make it at home.

What's in Jade citrus mint tea?

Teavana Jade Citrus Mint Tea contains green tea, spearmint, lemon verbena, lemongrass and natural flavors.

    Equipment you'll need

    • cocktail shaker: or large mason jar with secure lid

    Ingredients you'll need

    • green tea: Teavana Jade Citrus Mint Green Tea; you can make a green tea concentrate by brewing extra strong tea and leaving it to chill in the fridge, or you can do a cold brew tea by adding the tea bags into cold water and placing it into the fridge overnight to steep
    • water
    • lemonade: you can use homemade lemonade or a store-bought lemonade, which is already sweetened
    • peach juice: I used one from Ceres, which is a blend of peach juice and pear juice
    • ice
    • sweetener: optional; you can use simple syrup, or any liquid sweetener such as maple syrup, honey, or agave

Ingredients for iced peach green tea lemonade.

How to make peach green tea lemonade

    Hot brew tea method:

Bring water up to a boil. Let it slightly cool to 174F.

Add 1 green tea bag to a heat-proof vessel.

Pour ½ C hot water over the tea bags and let it steep for 2-3 minutes.

Remove tea bag and let the green tea cool in the fridge.

    Cold-brew tea method:

The day before, add 1 tea bag to a mason jar.

Pour ½ C cold water over the tea bags and cover with a lid.

Place into the fridge to steep overnight, or a minimum of 8 hours.

    Assemble the drink:

In a tall cocktail shaker with a lid or mason jar with secure lid, add in ice cubes, ½ C chilled green tea, ¼ C peach juice and ¼ C lemonade.

    Add in sweetener if using.

Secure the lid onto the jar and give it a good shake.

Pour the shaken peach green tea lemonade along with the ice into a tall glass, give it a stir with a straw and enjoy.

You can garnish with a few lemon slices if you wish.

    Homemade lemonade

Combine ¼ C fresh lemon juice with ¼ C granulated sugar and ½ C hot water in a tall glass.

Stir in 1 C cold water, or more to your taste.

    How to store

It's best to assemble the drink just prior to serving.

You can mix the drink (without ice) and store it in the refrigerator for up 1 day.

    Making a larger batch

Make more green tea by increasing the number of tea bags correspondingly and use a large pitcher.

Mix the drink (without ice) and place it into the refrigerator.

Just add ice prior to serving.

    Notes

Starbucks uses a ratio of 2 parts green tea to 1 part lemonade and 1 part peach juice.

They also use a peach juice blend that consists mainly of white grape juice concentrate and apple juice, pumpkin, sweet potato, apple, radish and cherry. For a comparable version, you can use Welch's white grape and peach juice.

Starbucks' peach green tea lemonade also uses liquid cane sugar as a sweetener.

You can change the ratio according to your taste: add more lemonade for a more tangier drink, or add more sweetener if you prefer a sweeter drink.

Teavana Jade Citrus Mint tea is recommended to be brewed at 79°C/174°F for 2 minutes.

    Variations & substitutions

You can use fresh peaches and make your own peach syrup.

Add carbonated or sparkling water (don't shake with ice though!)

If you don't have Teavana green tea, you can use a different green tea or even try it with black tea.

You can use your own homemade lemonade if you have fresh lemons on hand.

If you don't have fresh lemons on hand, make you own quick lemonade using bottled lemon juice -- mix 1.5 tablespoon lemon juice with 1 tablespoon sugar and ¼ C hot water. Stir in ¼ C cold water.

I do love Starbucks Michelle. But I also do agree with you that it's much more economical to make a similar drink at home. And as I'm all about saving all the pennies at the moment, this is great!
