What is White Rabbit candy?
White Rabbit Creamy Candy is a classic Chinese milk candy wrapped in a signature edible rice paper.
It’s soft, chewy, and sweet, with a flavor similar to sweetened condensed milk and vanilla.
Melting the candies into warm milk transforms it into a dreamy, comforting drink, which is also the base of creamy, frozen White Rabbit Ice Cream.

Why you'll love this recipe
Nostalgic: this recipe captures the milky sweetness of the beloved candy in drinkable form.
Quick & easy: it's ready in under 10 minutes with only a few ingredients.
Customizable: adjust the sweetness, or add a shot or two of espresso or cold brew coffee to jazz up the drink.
Add matcha green tea powder to the milk base to create a Matcha White Rabbit Milk Tea.
Ingredients you'll need
- White Rabbit candies: unwrapped; you can leave the edible paper on
- whole milk: I recommend using dairy milk for this particular recipe and not an alternative milk (eg. almond)
- sea salt: to bring out the sweetness and balance the flavor
- vanilla extract: for extra vanilla flavor
