This recipe for Korean Strawberry Milk features fresh strawberry puree blended with milk and ice. It's a fruity and refreshing drink, perfect for summertime!

Glass of strawberry milk with straw on a white plate, with one in the background.

My kids have been asking for milky drinks lately.

Since I had lots of fresh strawberries on hand, I made them this Korean Strawberry Milk, which is so easy to make!

And it tastes so much better than the powdered strawberry drinks that I remember as a kid.

    Why you'll love this recipe

This recipe is really simple and straightforward.

It's a fresh and fruity drink that makes use of fresh strawberries in the summer.

This recipe uses 3 main ingredients.

    Only 3 Ingredients

    • fresh strawberry sauce: I made my own easy 2-ingredient strawberry sauce for this recipe
    • whole milk: or non-dairy alternative
    • ice

    Equipment

    You'll need a high-powered blender.

Two glasses of strawberry milk with straws on a white plate.
    How to make it

Add strawberry sauce, milk and ice to a blender.

    Blend until smooth.

    How to serve

Pour some strawberry sauce to a serving glass. Give it a swirl to coat the glass. (Optional)

Add some ice cubes to the glass.

Pour the blended strawberry milk over the ice.

    Serve immediately.

    Other variations

Feel free to try this with any other fresh berries, such as blueberries, raspberries or blackberries.

If you're feeling indulgent, add a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream!

Wow, what a fun recipe! I love how simple this one is, too - it's like a healthier version of a milkshake. I've seen strawberry milk in the stores before, but I've never tried it. I highly suspect this homemade version will be way better - especially since the strawberries are at the height of their flavor right now!!

How luscious and refreshing! I love this beautiful swirl effect. So versatile too - I can easily imagine this not only with berries but also with succulent summer stone fruit. And of course I'll agree on a scoop of ice cream for myself πŸ™‚
