Ingredients you'll need
- eggnog: you can use store-bought or homemade
- milk of your choice: you can use any milk that you like, such as almond, oat, soy, or regular milk
- espresso: or strong coffee
- vanilla extract: for extra flavor; optional
- whipped cream: optional
You can find these ingredients at your local grocery store.
How to make it
Heat eggnog and milk in a saucepan until warm or microwave the mixture in a mug.
Pour the warmed eggnog and milk mixture into a mug.
Add in 2 shot of espressos, or ¼ C strong coffee.
Add in vanilla extract and grated nutmeg. Top with whipped cream if desired.
How to serve
You can serve Eggnog Latte warm, or iced.
If serving iced, no need to warm the eggnog or milk -- and add 2 shots of espresso.
Pair eggnog latte with chocolate peppermint bark cookies, sugar cookies, or coffee roll cake.
Optional additions
Add whipped cream, grated nutmeg and/or ground cinnamon.
