Years ago, I once had a curried chicken salad from a local eatery, and the flavors of the curry, chicken and grapes were such a fantastic combination -- I had to make my own version!
Bright and flavorful: a hint of warm spices, tangy creaminess and pops of sweetness makes this curried chicken salad stand out.
Meal-prep friendly: make it ahead for easy lunches or quick weeknight dinners.
Customizable: swap in your favorite ingredients like apples, raisins, or toasted nuts for extra texture.
Mayonnaise-free: this version doesn't contain mayo, for those who might not be fans of it.

Dressing:
- Greek yogurt: or mayonnaise
- curry powder: use one that you like and adjust to your taste
- lemon juice

Enjoy the curried chicken salad in sandwiches, fresh pita bread, tortilla wraps, on top of greens, with crackers, or on its own.
Pair with iced lemon tea, blackberry yuzu sparkling drink, or strawberry lychee jasmine tea.
Other additions
Feel free to customize the curried chicken salad to your taste.
Try adding chopped nuts for texture, apples or dried apricots for sweetness, or swapping in different fresh herbs.
If you prefer mayonnaise, you can certainly use it in place of the Greek yogurt.
Expert tips
Choose a curry powder that you like and adjust the amount depending on your spice preference: start with less and add more to taste.
Use rotisserie chicken for an extra easy shortcut.
Freshness is key: crunchy celery and fresh grapes bring brightness, texture, and sweetness to the salad.
Use one bowl: make the dressing in the bowl first, and add in the remainder of the ingredients for ease.
