What is jasmine tea?
Jasmine tea is a fragrant green tea scented with dried jasmine flowers.
It has a delicate flavor that pairs well in ice cream, poached pears, sorbet, and in cake.
Ingredients you'll need
- jasmine tea powder: or 1 teabag / 1 teaspoon looseleaf tea
- hot water
- fresh strawberries: finely diced
- granulated sugar: or sweetener to your taste
- ice
- oat milk: or you can also use any milk or non-dairy alternative
How to make it
In a heat-proof mug, add in jasmine tea powder and hot water, or brew 1 jasmine teabag with ¼ C hot water.
If using tea powder, use a handheld frother to froth the tea powder with the water.
In a serving glass, combine diced strawberries with sugar and mix, letting it sit for a few minutes.
Add in ice cubes, oat milk and top with jasmine tea.
Stick in a straw, give it a stir and enjoy immediately.
Other variations
Switch up the tea and use matcha green tea powder for a Strawberry Matcha Latte.
