Mee Goreng (Malaysian Stir-Fried Noodles)
A homemade, flavor-packed Mee Goreng you can whip up in under 30 minutes with a savory-spicy twist from my Miso Chili Oil.

Garnish:
- fried shallot/garlic/onion
- fried egg
- green onion
- Thai red chili
Cook the noodles:
Bring a pot of water up to a boil.
Add the noodles and cook according to the package instructions.
Drain the noodles in a colander and rinse under cold water. Drain well.
Assemble:
To the pot, over medium heat, add in pork lard, chili oil, sweet soy sauce, light soy sauce and the well-drained noodles.
Stir fry the noodles until evenly coated in the sauce.
Transfer to a plate and garnish with the fried shallot, fried egg, green onion, and Thai red chili.
Serve immediately.
