Smoked Salmon Bagel is a light and delicious sandwich consisting of toasted bagels slathered with cream cheese, smoked salmon, dill and briny capers which is perfect for brunch, breakfast or lunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 bagel sliced in half
  • 2 tablespoon cream cheese softened
  • 150 g (5.3 oz) smoked salmon

Garnish:

  • a few thinly sliced red onion
  • 2 teaspoon capers drained
  • few sprigs fresh dill
  • lemon wedges

Instructions

  • Toast the bagel halves in a toaster or oven.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon softened cream cheese on each toasted bagel half.
  • Layer on half the smoked salmon.
  • Garnish with red onion, capers, fresh dill, and a squeeze of lemon over the top.
  • Repeat with the remaining bagel half.
  • Serve immediately.
