150 g marshmallows + additional for mixing in 15 g salted butter 20 ml sweetened condensed milk 1 ½ teaspoon matcha ½ teaspoon vanilla extract 80 g (2 C) crisp rice (Rice Krispies)
In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the marshmallows, butter and condensed milk.
Microwave it for 20-30 seconds, until the marshmallows are melted and slightly puffy.
Add in the matcha powder and vanilla extract and stir to combine.
Add in the crisp rice (rice krispies) and additional mini marshmallows, if desired.
Use a spatula to combine together until all the crisp rice is coated with the matcha marshmallow mixture.
Transfer to a small container or baking pan (I used a square 5" by 5" pan) lined with parchment paper and press firmly with an offset spatula.
Let it set and cool completely, about 30 minutes.
To serve, use a sharp serrated knife to cut into squares to your liking.
