4 large fresh strawberries 50 g white chocolate 5 g coconut oil 1 ½ teaspoon matcha
For key visual process photos, refer to the body of the blog post. First, wash and pat dry the strawberries. Make sure they are completely dry.
Add the white chocolate to a small bowl and heat over a double-boiler or in a microwave, in 30-second increments, until completely melted.
Once the white chocolate is melted, stir in the coconut oil and matcha powder until homogenous.
Take a fresh strawberry by the stem/leafy end and dip the strawberry into the matcha chocolate, coating it entirely.
Let any excess chocolate drip off.
Place the matcha coated strawberry onto a small tray lined with parchment paper.
Repeat with the remaining strawberries.
Chill the matcha strawberries in the fridge for 5-10 minutes for the matcha chocolate shell to set.
For additional pizzazz, you can add an additional drizzle of white chocolate or dark chocolate.
