Ingredients

  • ½ C fresh mango (about 100g) finely diced into small pieces; or mango puree
  • 1-2 tablespoon granulated sugar or to your taste; also dependent on how sweet your mango is
  • ice
  • ½ C milk of your choice or non-dairy alternative
  • ¼ C hot water about 175°F/80°C
  • 1-2 teaspoon matcha sifted

Instructions

  • Add finely diced fresh mango to a serving glass.
  • Sprinkle sugar (if using) over the mango, give it a stir and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  • Next, add some ice to the glass.
  • Pour the milk over the ice.
  • In a small bowl or jar, add the matcha powder and pour in the hot water.
  • Use a whisk or electric frother until the matcha is incorporated and becomes frothy.
  • Carefully pour the matcha over top of the milk.
  • Stick in a straw, give it a stir and enjoy immediately.
