½ C fresh mango about 100g finely diced into small pieces; or mango puree 1-2 tablespoon granulated sugar or to your taste; also dependent on how sweet your mango is ice ½ C milk of your choice or non-dairy alternative ¼ C hot water about 175°F/80°C 1-2 teaspoon hojicha powder sifted
Add finely diced fresh mango to a serving glass.
Sprinkle sugar (if using) over the mango, give it a stir and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
Next, add some ice to the glass.
Pour the milk over the ice.
In a small bowl or jar, add the hojicha powder and pour in the hot water.
Use a whisk or electric frother until the hojicha is incorporated and becomes frothy.
Carefully pour the hojicha over top of the milk.
Stick in a straw, give it a stir and enjoy immediately.
