Iced Sparkling Matcha Yuzu

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon matcha sifted
  • 2 tablespoon hot water about 80°C/176°F
  • 1-2 tablespoon yuzu marmalade to your taste
  • ice cubes
  • 1 C carbonated/sparkling water

Instructions

Prepare the matcha:

  • Sift the matcha powder into a small bowl or jar.
  • Pour in hot water and whisk using a bamboo chasen (whisk) or an electric frother until smooth and frothy.

Assemble:

  • Add yuzu marmalade to a serving glass.
  • Fill glass with ice.
  • Pour in sparkling water, and top with the whisked matcha.
  • Serve immediately.
