1-2 tablespoon loose leaf black tea or 2 black tea bags 1 C hot water about 200°F/93°C ice 4-6 fresh lychees peeled 1-2 tablespoon lychee syrup or simple syrup
Brew the tea: Bring water to a boil (about 200°F/93°C).
Steep 1-2 tablespoon of lychee black tea leaves in hot water for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like it.
Once brewed, strain out the tea leaves or remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
Assemble: To a tall glass filled with ice, add in fresh lychees, lychee syrup (or simple syrup), and pour in cooled black tea.
Give it a stir and enjoy immediately.
