Ingredients

  • 1-2 tablespoon blueberry syrup or blueberry sauce
  • 1 C ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon matcha
  • ¼ cup hot water ~80°C / 176°F
  • ¾ C milk of your choice

Instructions

  • Sift matcha powder into a small bowl or jar.
  • Add hot water and whisk vigorously using a bamboo whisk or milk frother until frothy and fully dissolved.

Assemble:

  • Add blueberry syrup/sauce to a tall serving glass.
  • Fill with ice.
  • Pour the milk over the ice.
  • Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the top to create a layered effect.
  • Stir and enjoy.
