Ingredients

  • 1 ½ C milk or non-dairy alternative
  • 3 tablespoon (21g) black sesame powder or black sesame paste
  • 50 g white chocolate chopped, or white chocolate chips
  • pinch sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium-low heat until steaming hot, but not boiling.
  • Whisk in the black sesame powder until fully combined.
  • Add in the white chocolate and stir until melted and smooth.
  • Add a pinch of sea salt to balance the sweetness, and a splash of vanilla extract.
  • Divide into two mugs and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds, if desired.
