Asian Fried Eggs (Sesame Crusted)
This simple recipe for Asian Fried Eggs features sunny-side eggs fried with a crunchy sesame crusted base topped with a drizzle of chili oil.

- 2 tablespoon sesame seeds white or black, or combination
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- chili oil optional
- salt & pepper to taste
Heat a frying pan over low-medium heat.
Toss in sesame seeds and toast for about 30 seconds.
Add vegetable oil over the sesame seeds.
Crack eggs over the sesame seeds and cover the pan with the lid slightly ajar.
Let the eggs cook until desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes.
Use a spatula to gently release the egg.
Serve with additional sesame seeds and/or chili oil, and salt & pepper to taste.
