Baked Dukkah Tofu Fries

Dukkah Tofu FriesI first came across Dukkah when I was shopping at¬†Trader Joe’s in the States. I was intrigued and wondered if it was similar to za’atar. I hemmed and hawed in the aisle wondering what kind of dishes I could make with it. Luckily, a little quick Googling told me that it is commonly used as a condiment with bread dipped in olive oil. Product Review: Modern Hippie Whipped Body Butter

For all of my life, I’ve had pretty bad eczema. Eczema is atomic dermatitis — it’s an inflammation of the skin that can cause dryness, itchiness and rashes. There is no cure for it. My mom told me that when I was a newborn, I had it all over my cheeks.

As a kid, I didn’t realize I had it until I was about 9 or 10 years old and I had severe itching and rashes in the inner crease of my elbows as well as behind my knees. My family doctor referred me to a dermatologist and I was finally diagnosed with eczema.¬† (more…)
