Ingredients

  • 1 C whole milk or non-dairy alternative
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar to your taste
  • C (50g) dark chocolate chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tablespoon raspberry sauce

Garnish: optional

  • whipped cream
  • raspberries fresh or freeze-dried
  • dark chocolate shaved or grated

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, add in milk, cocoa powder and sugar, and whisk until smooth.
  • Add in chopped chocolate and whisk until smooth and heated through.
  • Add in vanilla extract.
  • Spoon raspberry sauce on the bottom of a mug.
  • Pour the hot chocolate over the raspberry sauce, and top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
  • Serve warm.
