- 1 C whole milk or non-dairy alternative
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar to your taste
- ⅓ C (50g) dark chocolate chopped
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2-3 tablespoon raspberry sauce
Garnish: optional
- whipped cream
- raspberries fresh or freeze-dried
- dark chocolate shaved or grated
In a small saucepan, add in milk, cocoa powder and sugar, and whisk until smooth.
Add in chopped chocolate and whisk until smooth and heated through.
Add in vanilla extract.
Spoon raspberry sauce on the bottom of a mug.
Pour the hot chocolate over the raspberry sauce, and top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
Serve warm.
