Garlic Bread

This recipe for Garlic Bread is simple, decadent and full of garlic flavor, with garlic butter smeared on lightly toasted bread. It makes for a great accompaniment to any pasta dish.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices French bread

Garlic butter:

  • 4 tablespoon salted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F/177°C.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

Make the garlic butter:

  • In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, garlic powder, black pepper, minced garlic and parsley.
  • Mix well with a fork or spatula.
  • Use a spatula or knife to divide the garlic butter mixture evenly and spread it onto each slice of bread.
  • Bake at 350°F/177°C for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden in color.
  • Remove from heat and serve.
