Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon black Ceylon tea I used a finely ground tea, but you can use tea bags as well
  • 1 C hot water
  • 1-2 tablespoon rose syrup
  • ½ teaspoon rose water
  • 1 C warmed milk frothed
  • rose petals optional

Instructions

  • Make the tea by pouring hot water over the tea bags/loose leaf tea. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
  • Warm up milk (using a microwave or on the stove) and froth using an electric frother.
  • In a mug, add 1-2 tablespoon rose syrup (to taste), rose water and pour in the hot tea.
  • Pour in the warmed milk.
  • Garnish with rose petals (optional) and enjoy immediately.
