So for the next little while, I’ll be pumping out the savoury, meaty dishes since that’s pretty much all we’re eating on the Whole30 program.
I made a version of these a few years ago and it was featured on the Masterchef Canada website as a winning pick from Chef Michael Bonacini! Yeah, crazy cool right?
Of all the days Valentine’s Day has to fall on this year — February 14, it had to be the start of Lent! (Those chocolates will have to wait til the next day!) And with Chinese New Year falling on the Friday (the 16th), our plans for celebrating it (with peking duck nonetheless) this year are going to be postponed until the weekend. It all works out since the hubby is on a business trip and won’t be back until the weekend, so double the reason to celebrate when he’s back. (more…)
